YALDA is operated by its single-staff volunteer, poet and educator. Ugly Duckling Presse and Poets House are kindly discounting their time and materials for our cause. That said, we need your support to get the program off the ground, to cover printing and admin fees, to keep the program tuition-free and offer one fellowship (travel, room and board) to a student in need. To make this possible we are hoping to raise $15,000 by June 15,2016.
Each donation carries with it an award, and as a contributor you will have many incredible awards from which to choose, ranging from over 100 autographed, limited edition, brilliant titles of poetry and fiction, literary magazine and press subscriptions, as well as original artists books and artworks. These gifts are possible because of the artists and the authors who have generously donated their work in support of our campaign.
