Malia Maxwell
Malia Maxwell lives in Seattle, Washington. She attends the Northwest School full-time, and the Stanford Online High School part-time. Malia continues to experiment with metaphor, biography, and repetition as she does in Daisy Crown, but is also branching out and exploring new topics and styles to embrace herself as a poet. Yovana Milosevic
Yovana is a first year student at Illinois Wesleyan University. She is majoring in English with a concentration on writing, and spent most of last semester developing a poetry portfolio via her Writing Poetry course. She is loving the small class sizes and individualized attention, and is excited about her English course this semester on the Great Migration. She is currently studying the poems of Langston Hughes and Richard Wright, and is excited to further submerge herself in her major. She is exploring honesty and truth, but also pushing the boundaries of how these concepts are expressed, and especially, how they are vocalized from a female perspective. Lulu Priddy
Lulu Priddy is a sophomore at Scripps College in Claremont, CA where she is studying art, poetry, and film. In 2017, Lulu won first place in the Scripps College Journal Writing Contest. She is a member of the 5C Wordsmiths, a group of students who organize writing workshops and invite authors and poets to speak at her college. Greer Nakadegawa-Lee
Greer Nakadegawa-Lee is 14 years old and attends Claremont Middle School. She was a featured reader at the Berkeley Poetry Festival, and has performed at Bay Area Generations and the Watershed Environmental Poetry Festival. Besides writing, she likes to draw in her spare time. If you asked her what she explores in her poetry, she might not be able to tell you exactly, but she tries to write every day. She hopes to publish a collection of her own work someday.
Caroline Sasso

Savon Williams
Savon Williams is a poet, singer/song-writer, and essayist. She is a current junior at the Academy For Young Writers where she enjoys engaging in extracurricular activities and exploring new fields of work. She is currently focusing on studying Psychoanalytic Theory in literary works such Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and John Milton’s Paradise Lost.
